Incredible Wall Dives

Atoll diving in Belize can offer some of the most stunning wall dives in the country. Turneffe is hardly ever an exception. This 2 dive tour begins at 8:15 AM. After check in, divers will board our vessel and travel about one hour to get to the North Western end of Turneffe. Once there your first dive will be to a maximum depth of 24 Meters. Turneffe’s topography at most dive sites in the area boasts shallow sandy plateaus with veins of coral reef or small coral canyons that eventually lead to deep coral walls that descend into a mesmerising abyss. These coral walls sometimes entertain visitors such as spotted eagle rays that zoom by in serene slow motion while creatures such as eels may be seen peeking out from in between crevices. The occasional hawksbill turtle is also fairly common in the area.

After the first dive, lunch is served by the crew and you get to enjoy an hour surface interval with food and a view of Turneffe’s array of islands from afar. Your next dive will be at a different site. Each site will be chosen based on factors such as other dive boats, clarity, and any noticeable activity. Once the crew has chosen the second dive site, you will do a second and final dive at 18 Meters maximum depth for about 45 minutes before ascending back to the boat and taking the ride back to Caye Caulker.
