Sea Sickness?
Be prepared

Even if you don’t normally get sea sick, the journey to and from the dive site can be choppy and, due to our prevalent east-south-east wind you are liable to get motion-sickness. Stock up on anti motion sickness tablets before the trip and try to avoid alcohol the night before. It is quite common for surface conditions to be choppy upon entry at the site.

Surface Conditions
Entry Considerations

It is quite normal for the sites near Esmeralda to be choppy at the surface, even in normal conditions. Divers should practice keeping their masks on and regulators in when at the surface before and after the dive.
